  When I arrived, I was astounded to be given one battery, in a box (nice and new and stamped 2014), and another which was not in a box, stamped 2015 and it had slide marks on the top. I immediately asked the guy that served me if it was used? Another staff member piped up in the background and said "yeah I used it, I've used it a couple of times".

  just purchased some cordless kits and skins. Dealt with Chad who was a great help in sorting it all out, he was even able to massage the sale price a little further. Great service will definitely make all other purchases there .

  Now, at this point in time, I was quite pissed off to be treated this way, so I eyeballed the staff member and called him a "smart ass". From this point in time, he did not make eye contact with me again.

  Chad sold me a Michelin pressure cleaner last year, and just yesterday (12May2016) a Chicago Hush50 Air Compressor. In both instances he patiently spent time with me, explaining the pros and cons as we compared various models. I felt that I was in good hands through both interactions. His detailed knowledge of the various units that we compared, steered me in the right direction, and finally made me confident that I was making the right purchase. I will always ask for Chad when I come in. Thanks mate for your help. Leo

  Massive mistake! We have our own business and employ three full time service technicians who use tools on a daily basis, and have a manufacturing side to our business also. I can guarantee you that we will not use Sydney Tools ever again.

  I ordered two new batteries online, to be shipped to the Taren Point shop for collection. I received a phone call a week later to advise that the batteries had arrived and could be collected. Having made an order online, to be collected at a branch, I would expect to receive these goods packed in their original packaging.
